I love to encourage Christian women especially those of us who through distance, illness or disability, find ourselves lonely and longing for some fellowship with like minded women...
With a myriad of health issues ranging from life-threatening to annoying, I write about chronic illness with the authority and empathy that comes from walking that sad path daily.
Although primarily to encourage the ill and lonely, I write on an eclectic range of subjects because I believe we need to keep well rounded in our faith and not simply focus on our illness.... I try to include some art and prettiness as well to lift our spirits.
I have been writing for more than thirty years and I find a closeness to God through it. He certainly sustains me. Some of my posts have been published in Christian sites... some of which are still currently available online.
Those that aren't available online now, include a homemakers magazine called Making It Home by Cat and Blaine. (Now out of print) and these sites:
Finding Beauty
Faithful bloggers
Ladies Against Feminism
KJV blog directory
Homemaking Cottage
Currently online are:
A Christian Home
The Christian HomeKeeper
Around the Table
